Topic: Anybody want to let me interview them about writing from their job?

(I'll probably be asking around at today's meeting about this too.)

I'm taking a required course called "Technical Writing" (though I would call it "Business Writing"), and for one of the assignments, I must interview someone in my field of study about the writing they do in the course of their employment. (I'm talking about the really boring things like letters and memos and some emails, though newer forms of communication/documentation might work too.) So I'm looking for someone who codes or designs or is a sysadmin who might have a reasonbly sized body of work of this sort.

The requirements would be to answer some questions related to the writing you do on the job, with a few basic ones as exposition, for about 25-35 minutes, and also to provide three actual documents you have written that are representative of what you normally write. They don't have to be the greatest in the world; they don't even have to be the least bit interesting. Obviously, however, if it is a concern, no information that should remain private/confidential should show up in the documents.

Preferably, this should be done within the week, but if no one is able to meet that timeframe, I certainly understand.

Thank you in advance.
